Take Action for a Coal Free BC
When the coal mined in BC is burned overseas, it creates as much global warming pollution as we do here at home. BC should be be part of the solution, not part of the problem!
Global warming is the biggest crisis of our time, and it's nearly running out of control.
We've set our sights putting an end to coal in BC by 2015. This will be a big job, but we take comfort in the fact that people around the world are working to stop coal in their communities too. It's urgent, and we don't have time to waste, but it's not too late.

Enough talk -- it's time for action! I commit to working with other people in my community to end the production and export of BC coal by 2015.
